history: Mary Alice Swan was born as the oldest daughter to Charlie and Esme Swan. She was your typical baby who really didn't do much outside of eat, cry and poop but she was definitely loved by both her parents. A year later Alice was joined by a younger sister who her parents named Isabella and as Alice got older, Isabella became a living doll for her to play with. Too young to dress Bella, as a toddler, Alice always made sure to join her mother whenever it was time to change the baby. Alice always had an opinion on what her younger sister should wear and as soon as Bella was dirty, Alice ran off to find a new outfit that she would then hand to her mother and say the baby had to be changed. At first Esme found Alice's actions endearing but after awhile even Alice could see that her constant outfit changes were annoying her mother so she stopped.
Whether she wasn't paying attention or maybe it was just the fact that she was too young, whatever the reason Alice didn't notice her parents attitudes changing towards each other. Her first and only clue that something was wrong was when she woke up not long after she turned five years old to find her father gone. Her mother at first refused to talk about it but when Alice began blaming herself and asking if it was her fault that her daddy left, Esme told her no and that her daddy still loved her. She said it just wasn't meant to be between the two of them. With her father still living in Forks, Alice and her younger sister were required to spend time with him and would even spend a couple nights during the week and every other weekend with their dad.
As they got older however, Alice began to fight going to her dad's. She didn't exactly hate him but she hated the fact that he had up and left them. It wasn't until Alice hit high school that she found her argument that had her parents ease up on her visits to her dad. Telling them that she couldn't very well focus on do homework well if she was spending a couple nights during the week in one house and another couple nights in the other, her parents agreed to having her live primarily with her mother. Now she only stays with her father every other weekend.
Now a senior in Forks High, Alice is captain of the cheerleading squad and a fairly popular girl who does her best to get along with everybody. She has recently met a new guy in school named Jasper who tends to be trying to keep to himself. Never the type of person to let somebody slip into the shadows, Alice has decided that she wants to do whatever she can to try and bring him out more and get him more involved in school activities as well as parties and whatever little amount of life there is in Forks.

Alice opened her eyes and as she raised her arms over her head she stretched smiling slightly as she heard her back pop. It was one of the worlds unknown mysteries to her, but for some reason if Alice did not pop her back at the beginning of every day then she felt sluggish and tight through out the rest of the day. After yawning and rubbing her eyes Alice pushed herself up on her arms then looked around her bedroom before pushing herself up to a sitting position and throwing her legs over the edge of the bed. Smiling as she placed her feet on the rug that stretched out under her bed, Alice laced her fingers behind her and arched her back smiling as she heard her back pop yet again.
"Mmmm.....today's going to be a good day." Alice thought happily as she brushed the covers aside. As if she'd already had a large mug of coffee Alice shot up to her feet and walked over towards the door heading for the bathroom that normally resembled a battle zone on school mornings because of her and her sister attempting to get ready. Wearing only green and black checkered pajama pants with a black tank top Alice made her way to the bathroom that she hoped was empty. Thinking about the empty bathroom and how she'd gotten to sleep in Alice thought: "I really do love Saturdays."
Forty-five minutes later Alice walked out of the bathroom with a large green towel wrapped around her body. With another towel in her hands, Alice dried her hair as she walked back into her room. After digging through the clothing she had practically falling out of her closet, Alice pulled out a pair of black tight fitting jeans and a deep emerald green halter top that would stop just below her belly button. She was supposed to be meeting some of the girls down in Forks for lunch at the diner then they were going out to Port Angeles for some shopping and after glancing at the time she saw she only had about an hour before she had to be in town.
Getting dressed didn't take her long but after making sure her hair and make up was perfect Alice glanced at the time again and realized that she was already twenty minutes late. Although she felt bad about being late, she knew that her friends were used to it so she didn't bother trying to rush as she grabbed her last piece of clothing. Leaving her jacket open in front Alice picked up her purse then headed to her door and grinned when she heard the knock. Figuring her friends had probably just shown up at her house instead of the diner, Alice pulled open the door and smiled innocently at all the faces staring back at her.
"Am I late?" Alice asked with fake innocence as she closed the door to her room softly behind her.
