Embry had wanted to take Alexzandra to the meadow. Not to be mushy or sentimental, but he had thought that the colors and sights might inspire her writing. Embry had stumbled onto the meadow while on a patrol and knew instantly it was somewhere she might like. The flowers were in full bloom and the meadow was alive with colors, smells, and sounds. Embry had hiked in human form to the meadow, not wanting to be naked or shirtless when Alexzandra came. He had asked her to meet him there and he was starting to doubt that it was a good idea. He didn't like the fact that she was alone in the woods, but Embry had to meet with the pack and barely made it to the meadow in time to meet here there.
Embry looked around, taking the time to scan everything looking for Alex. He slowly became more and more anxious debating on searching for her and changing into wolf form to scan the area. He was almost certain there were no vamps in the area, but they moved fast and there was no telling if one would show up at a moment's notice. If a vampire so much as spoke to her Embry wasn't sure if he could control himself.

Alex wasn't sure why Embry had told her to meet him here, she wasnt even sure where they were actually going but curiosity had struck her and she couldnt say no. She agreed happily and without hesitation to come out into the forest, she didnt have any other plans for the day and she wasnt exactly sure she wanted to spend the day alone anyway. Time with Embry seemed like the perfect idea.
She sighed a bit as she walked through the forest, for once happy she'd managed to dress for the occasion. She wore boots to the boots, boots when she went camping with her grams before she died. This time she was ready for hikin, jogging and just about any other sport related activity...and as a bonus, she still managed to look pretty.
Running a little bit behind schedule, she finally made it to the meadow and her eyes immediately brightened with excitement. She couldnt remember seeing anyhting so beautiful in her life "Embry?..."

Embry spotted her almost instantly. It was like he had some sort of alert inside him that made him know when she was near. His attention got more alert and clear, and his heart sped up just a bit. Her presence seemed to make him more...him. Embry smiled and walked to her, happy that she seemed to be happy.
" Thanks for meeting me. I was hiking and I thought you might like it here. Its quiet and there's a lot of nature...."
Embry mentally memorized the way the sunlight hit her hair perfectly and the way her smile seemed to light up her face.
" Your poems and songs are amazing by themselves so I thought this might inspire you."

Alex grinned as she walked over to Embry, looking at him for a minute as he spoke and she just smiled. She imagined she looked a bit shocked. She hadn't known such a place existed. The beach might have been her favorite place but this was incredible.
"Thanks for telling me to meet you here, this place is amazing." she exclaimed, hearing him compliment her poems and her songs made her flush ever so lightly and she looked down for a minute before back up at him and couldnt help when her smile widened. She moved close enough to wrap both arms aorund his neck and hug him.
"Thank you so much for showing me this place Embry. Its so perfect." she spoke lightly, happily. Her dark hair was done up in a ponytail but she quickly moved one hand to release the rubberband so that it fell over her shoulders in small curls.

Embry was beaming at the fact that she liked the place that he had shown her. He didn't want to make her feel like she had to like it, but it was clear that she genuinely did. Embry felt her hug him and he smiled at her. So far the day couldn't get too much better, he was with his soul mate in one of the most beautiful parts of the area and she was hugging him.
" Well im just glad you like it. I didn't want you to think I was some sort of weird guy trying to get you into the woods or something. It really is a nice place..."
Embry laughed a little and watched as she took her hair down and he wondered if she had a new song or poem. He loved listening to her sing.

"No, I dont like it. I love it, its so quiet..." Alex wondered if she could make this her new thinking place. If she could come here when she wanted to be alone or not be bothered by people. The times she wanted to hide from the world and disappear, this would be the perfect place to do that and no one but embry would think to look for her here.
"Its even better being here with you." she spoke, wondering if he would mind her kissing him but she didnt give him much of a chance to think. She put her arms around his neck, moving closer so that she was inches from him. He was taller than her so she'd have to get on her tip-toes and she did. She got up high enough so that she was staring into his eyes and smiled lightly before moving just an inch closer and pressing her lips gently against his. She was more than aware this was their first kiss. Probably not his first kiss ever but it was hers. She had never been kissed before, unless kisses on the cheek counted -which she was sure they didnt-

A lot had been happening recently a series of events that were certainly not working in his favor, one. He had nearly lost control of everything after meeting this one girl, two. His feelings for her were developing and quickly as well as strongly, three. She had worked out exactly who, and what he was, despite the warnings, despite the evasions, Bella had persisted. Isabella Swan had found out his most deepest and most darkest secret, that he was a vampire. Yet she had not run in fear, she had done nothing for that matter, of course fear had flared if only for a moment, but that had soon enough died. Instead she had remained there and continued to ask him questions. Questions! of all things, Whatever it was that the two of them felt it wasn't good, it wasn't right, but at the same time, it felt..normal, like this was now everything should be, it was a dangerous ground, what made it that much worse, was the fact that Bella was due to be Married, to none other than a Vampire's supposed worst enemy.
Not that Edward objected to such things, but wasn't that dangerous? The wolves had very little control over themselves when angered, where as certain vampires had all the control possible, in Edward's opinion the wolves were the most dangerous, But what could he do, what could he say? it wasn't his choice, it was Bella's life. Even though he continued to concern himself, he couldn't help but be concerned when it came to Bella's life, why? he had no idea, but he felt the strong need to simply be there for her to look out for her, and to protect her no matter the cost. Odd considering they had only known each other for a short amount of time. Yet what made the situation that much worse, was the fact Bell had been prepared to through it all away for him, the kiss they had shared against his better judgment was one step in the wrong direction. He couldn't resist her, not any more, and not for any longer no matter how much he wanted to.
None the less that was only over the course of a few days which made it all that much more worrying, at how fast his feelings had developed and how he already couldn't picture his life, his existence without her. Yet the time he had spent with her, had tested him pushed him to his limits for that matter. So the need to hunt at that moment was great, his eyes were on the verge of black, and his throat felt raw, and ached endlessly with the need to feed, to drink. Making his way out of the large house, that he called home with his gray coat on, the air was chilling, although the sun was bright, he took that moment when it played behind he clouds to escape. His coat of course shielded the most of him from the sun, although his hands, and his face were still an open target as he dashed for the line, and shelter of the trees, the sun glimpsed of his skin causing many rays of small lights to shimmer on his skin, like tiny embedded diamonds.
Away from human eyes Edward moved swiftly on, he felt open here, this was his true home, where he should be long, away from any humans, any form of civilization, although he could control himself, that didn't mean he trusted himself. Leaves stirred in his wake, bushes rustled as he passed them, due to an unnatural wind that he had created. It continued for a while, like this he hunted, killed and drained the life of various animals, finally feeling at least partly full, although he knew he would never really be satisfied. With it, how could he? the blood of an animal was far from natural for a vampire, then again, a vampire alone wasn't natural. Deciding to take a detour through the one place he would often come alone, the one place he wanted to take Bella, to his meadow, as he liked to call it barely anyone went there, wolves were occasionally foolish if they did, the meadow, and this part of the forest was their designated territory, assigned to them over the treaty.
Not only that, but vampire never usually liked to share, it was simply their behavior, their instinct. So he ran on, heading to wards the meadow. Yet he got only so far before a scent hit him two scents, one mingled with the overwhelming stench of dog, which almost caused Edward to physically retch. They were in his meadow? and exactly who where they? Pushing on, the scents grew stronger and a moment later he reached the borderline of trees before they opened up into the large, meadow. He stopped instantly and prepared himself for the worst, although fighting wasn't something he wanted to do, he never wanted to fight. Peering a head, with narrow eyes he spotted the source, a female and Embry Call one of the recently transformed wolves. Or Shape Shifters. He wanted to approach them to ask Embry why he was on their land. Yet the sun was shining and he had no idea exactly what the girl did, or did not know. Silently he waited, hidden in the shadows and shelter of the trees, leaning against a tree he watched, and listened to their exchange in words.

Embry was caught up in Alex. It was amazing how something could totally demand and draw in his full and total attention. There was nothing else Embry call wanted to do in the world other than be with Alex. When she said that she liked it better because he was there Embry smiled and when she moved closer to him, wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him he was even more taken with her. Her lips were soft and the kiss felt like someone had supercharged him. His heart had sped up, and all he wanted to do was hold her in his arms.
Embry slid his arms around her and kissed her back softly. Embry had only kissed two girls in his young life. Once was in the first grade when he gave Grace bennington a cookie so she kissed him and the other was in fourth grade during a dare which he was pretty sure the girl hadn't been too happy about. This however was a whole new level. Alex had a way of sending him into a whole other world where there was just him and her.
Then he smelled the vampire. Embry immediately was sucked back into reality, into the world where his Alex wasn't safe. Embry felt himself get a little rigid but kept his arms around Alexzandra. He looked up and around for the source of the smell. Oh there was defiantly one near, but where? Embry smiled at Alex apologetically
" Sorry I didn't mean to ruin the moment I just.....I think..I heard something...."

Alex smiled lightly as he moved his arms around her waste and she moved to deepen the kiss, her eyes closing just a bit. Of course the kiss was abruptly stopped when he turned away from her and began looking around. She bit her lip for a moment, wondering if she'd done something wrong.
He spoke and she frowned "I didnt hear anything." she spoke, half smiling at him and moved a hand through her hair slightly.
She figured he might feel better if she stayed close to him. He looked like the type of person to get just a bit overprotective so she stayed just a foot away from him at all times "Embry, seriously, i-it was probably just a deer or something. Its fine. Besides, whats the worst that could happen? I mean your with me, right? And your like, what...six feet, maybe six foot two...someone would have to be insane to try and start something with you...your like a giant." she chuckled a bit, smiling as she moved her hand in his.

Embry laughed a little when Alex said people were insane to mess with him. People yes, but evil creatures who suck blood no. Embry wanted to shift into his wolf form but there was no way he was going to do it in front of Alex and definitely no way he was going to leave her unprotected. Embry tried to relax, there was no need to scare her. Maybe just his scent was enough to keep the vampire away. The best thing he could do was stay with her.
" Yea..maybe a deer. Sorry."
He looked down into her eyes again and leaned down a little to touch his forehead to hers while still looking into her eyes. He wondered for the nine millionth time how he got so lucky. She was so beautiful but more than that. She was fun, sweet and loving. She just had a way to take over his whole world.
" Your eyes are so beautiful"

The two of them stood their chatting to one another, oddly enough the scene before him reminded him of the time he and Bella had stood in the very same spot, their lips had met and they together had created the most deadly of mistakes, they had fallen in love, and now, the two of them faced the hardest decision. Although he knew what Bella should do, he accepted that, yet at the same time he knew that Bella wouldn't do that. No matter how much he wanted her to, how much he knew it was right. Still the sun shone illuminating the meadow his meadow, the wolves had, enough land yet they wished to take a small part of his own land that he deemed his, his families even. One place he could get away from it all, and almost appear normal. The young couple, from what he gathered were engaged in a deep conversation, of course it was no surprise that Embry had spotted him, or at least smelt him, and passed the excuse off as some deer.
Edward frowned deeply he wanted time to simply sit back to relax and be himself but the two before him showed no signs of moving, shifting slightly he debated heading to wards them he went to step out into the sun shine but paused. No, it wasn't wise, far from it. Did the girl know about the wolves? perhaps, had Embry imprinted? again perhaps so, either way he couldn't take the risk, nor did he particularly wish to deal with a crazy human, after she had seen him shimmer. Instead with a gentle sigh he waited, what more could he do given the situation? other that to stand and watch. Shifting once more he leaned back against the tree, he had been against moments ago, his arms crossed over his chest as he studied them, listening and watching, praying the sun would hide soon.

"Dont be sorry. Its not your fault. Seriously..."
Alex muttered, smiling a bit and let her eyes wander around for a minute before she looked up at Embry, her face flushing lightly when he complimented her eyes and she shook her head a bit "I- they're not..." she stammered a bit, kissing his cheek and then looked down, averting her gaze.
She realized just a minute later that she had a small notepad and a pen tucked away in her back pocket. She half smiled "Perfect place to write a song, huh?" she asked, grinning happily as she took the book and pen out, holding it with one hand and grabbed Embry's hand with her other. She dragged him over to a tree and let go of his hand dropping down on the small patch of grass and folded her legs.
It had gotten a bit later in the day, the sun had only just begun to be hidden by small dark clouds. It was supposed to rain sometime in the afternoon which now that she thought about, it was getting close...it had just turned 11am. The news had said to expect rain before 3pm. "Come sit with me." she smiled up at Embry.
