general appearance: to put it simply, kenzie is the ideal image of a ginger. she has long, flowing red hair that almost goes to her midback. to add to it, her eyes are a piercing, pale blue that almost matches the sky. when you add in her pallid skin tone and freckles scattered across her face, she really is a ginger. she dresses usually in pale colors to blend in better, being that her hair doesn't really allow such. but even with that idea, she is a magnificent and beautiful creature.
perhaps the other most noticeable thing about her is that she is no longer extremely thin, despite previoudly being quite curvy to the pointy her waist is twenty-four inches and hips measuring at thirty-six inches. now that she is pregnant, she has a beautiful baby bump forming. naturally she doesn't want anyone to know and does her best to hide it. now she mostly dresses in jeans and simple blouses, with a poncho or large sweatshirt over to cover the pertruding bump.

personality: with a unique past and near perfect memory, kenzie has a less than usual perspective. everything her father did caused her to not trust people with most personal ideas and to be paranoid. she has seen too much and it's obvious in the way she carries herself, even if she doesn't like telling people. some would expect her to be soft-spoken because of it, but it really is the opposite. more than often she will state her opinion, even if she does her best to be polite about being headstrong.
if you thought that having a perfect memory would be nice, you're wrong. mackenzie would know. she remembers almost every detail she's ever wanted, and those she doesn't. because of this she has insomnia and often acts tired around others, after all bad memories don't need a trigger. they're just there without being stopped. sometimes she can be a little moody or bitter as well, but bottles it up and instead listens to others emotional trauma.
but not all of mackenzie is a depressing idea. after the loss of her parents she suppressed herself mostly to her cyber world, teaching herself code, hacking, and other related ideas. it has kept her sane and as happy as she could possibly be. that is one thing she doesn't have to cover about happiness, forging the name macrock as it came to hacking.

history: over eighteen years ago, mackenzie elizabeth redburn, now going by stone, was born in kingston, west virginia. it was not an ideal birth. she was not expected until nearly five months into the pregnancy and despite her parents wishes, it was too late to abort. so she was kept within the family, a seemingly normal upbringing. in fact it was until she was seven years old. by then the eidetic memory was notoriously noted, that was also the first of seventeen victims of her father's. she watched from the closest as her father raped and killed a prostitute, and remembers every detail.
but that was just the beginning. kenzie was beat into silence and stayed silence. there was a period of two years, a cooling off period, before she witnessed another murder. but she was still only nine when she watched her mother suffer the same fate as a prostitute. only a year passed before a third woman died, officially making her father a serial killer. but one more she was beaten to silence as she threatened to speak. she never murmured a word to anyone however, being beaten so young did that to her.
the secrets and beatings continued until kenzie was past seventeen. she created a petition for emancipation, not able to take it anymore. during this process she came clean completely. she informed the police of all seventeen murders her father committed, explaining in graphic detail because of her memory. her father chose mackenzie as his next victim. unknown until then he had an apprentince, who he gave the order to rape and kill. only the latter was stopped, being caught with a knife to the throat. of course her father and the apprentince were immediately arrested and her move to be emancipated fulfilled. her plans were to move across the country away from it all, but she didn't get an immediate choice to doing so.
the hearings dragged on and on it felt. unable to cope properly mackenzie started teaching herself code and how to hack, finding it perfectly necessary to go back and make her surname stone where ever she could. she was and still is ashamed to be the daughter of a serial killer. the only thing she fears more than her father is her secret becoming publicized. however because of this she has learned to believe in a lot of things. like the idea that even though her father technically is serving seventeen life sentenced that he could get out and find her. after all, there is an "office" in her house covered in newspaper clippings about it an even unopened letters from her father. it's all about him, it even makes it known that she is his daughter in it. perhaps the reason she doesn't let anyone in it and has it padlocked shut.
despite all of this stress, kenzie has moved to forks to try and finish her senior year even though it's been delayed due to the drama. of course even moving here hasn't erased every trace. she thought it was just food poisoning, but it turned out that she was pregnant. at this point she is officially twenty-nine weeks pregnant, but the risk of premature labor has always been higher in teenagers. there is nothing left for her other than the baby, so she's just trying to make a name for herself now. well, or at least find something for her new and forged personality.
