***** Rachel scrunched up her face slightly as a few loose strands of hair fell from behind her ear to fall in front of her face. Blowing against the strands in an effort to get them out of her face, Rachel sighed after her third attempt and used her fingers to tuck her hair behind her ear again. Knowing she had just gotten flour in her hair, Rachel made a mental note that she'd have to take a shower after she finished up in the kitchen so she could get the white powder out of her hair. She really didn't think the white powder would look cute against the dark strands of her dark hair so after telling herself to make sure she washed it out before she went to bed, Rachel went back to rolling out the dough for the pie crust she was working on for her family.
About twenty minutes later Rachel had a cheery pie baking in the oven as she washed her hands in the kitchen sink with a small smile on her lips. Rachel couldn't explain why baking had a relaxing effect on her but it did and she loved baking random things for her family. Drying off her hands, Rachel took off her apron and hung it on a hook next to the kitchen doorway before walking out of the kitchen and heading to her room. Rachel knew that she had a bit before her pie was done so decided that she would take a quick shower to get rid of the flour that was now in her hair before she began planning what to make for dinner that night. She had no clue where her sister, brother or father were but she knew that she would have to start on dinner for the family soon since it was already four thirty and her family always had dinner around six thirty or seven. Normally like the rest of her family, Rachel wouldn't be home until around five or five thirty. The only reason she had been able to make the pie that night was because she didn't have any practice on Tuesdays or Thursdays and with it being a Tuesday she was free to bake.
When she finished her shower and had changed into something comfortable, Rachel headed back to the kitchen where she began to peel the potatoes she was going to use for the mashed potatoes she was planning on making for dinner. With the potatoes peeled, Rachel had just thrown them into a pot of hot water when the timer for her pie went off. Taking out her pie, Rachel set it on the counter nearby. Rachel had just pulled out the steaks she was going to be making for dinner that night when she heard a knock at the front door. Looking through the doorway that led from the kitchen to the front hall, Rachel wondered who was there before she moved away from the counter. Making her way towards the front door, Rachel peeked through a nearby window to see her brother's fiancee standing there. With a smile on her lips, Rachel unlocked the door then pulled it open.
"Hey Bella. Come on in." Rachel said as she stepped aside to let the younger girl into the house.

Bella's truck was more trouble than it was worth. It'd broke down against just this morning when she was ready to leave for school. She had to drive Esme's car to school and back home again. Needless to say the car was a bit fast for her. She was used to her trucks slow movement. It made it easier for her to NOT crash.
While driving Esme's car, she'd nearly crashed at least five times.
It was a disaster but Bella had other things on her mind. When she got home, she was greeted by a phone call from the store Alice and Esme had taken her to in order to get fitted for her wedding gown. The dress wasnt supposed to be ready for another three weeks but the store owner had said very happily that they hadnt gotten many gown orders and that the dress was ready for pick up today.
Frantic, Bella rushed out the house before Alice or anyone could ask where she was going.
The whole drive to Port Angeles was filled with angry yells and curses but she knew this would come sooner and so with much hesitation, she drove to pick up the dress.
-------------------
After she'd gotten the dress, a still frantic Bella drove to Jacob's house, hoping he was there. She really needed to talk or vent or hit something and she knew that, him being a wolf and somewhat indestructible, would allow her to hit him as much as he'd allow.
However when she parked outside the house and moved to knock rather loudly on the door she wasnt greeted by Jacob's silly grin, she was greeted instead by his sister, Rachel. She smiled and nodded as she walked in the house, a long white bag hanging across her left arm "The dress came in way too early...im afraid to open the zipper...it's probably a disaster...I can't look at it...A-and its not supposed to be ready for another three weeks, they cant have finished it that fast...its not possible, I mean..." she went quiet, realizing she was on the verge of having a panic attack. She set the bag on the couch, letting it fall in a small heap and took a breath "I can't look at my- my..." she choked on the words that followed "Wedding dress!"

***** Rachel managed to bite back the laughter that was threatening to erupt from her lips at the way Bella was panicking over the fact that she had her dress ready. It wasn't like Rachel blamed her about being worried about her dress since it was still a few weeks before it was supposed to be ready but Bella had always been one to over exaggerate which kept Rachel on her toes as well as kept her amused. Rachel was sure that Bella wouldn't find the whole thing amusing though so she tried to look sympathetic when all she wanted to do was laugh at the hysterics that the younger girl we currently experiencing.
"Bella breath." Rachel said with a laugh at her future sister-in-law. Moving to stand next to the couch where she had just dropped her dress, Rachel asked: "Do you want me to open it for you? If you want you can try it on in my room and we can look it over to make sure that nothing is wrong with it. You don't want Jacob to see you so worked up over something that probably isn't even a big deal. You know how he can get whenever somebody he cares about is upset. Port Angeles is a small town and I doubt if people are getting married every weekend so it makes sense that they finished a bit ahead of schedule. The time frame they gave you was in case they had more then a few people to get dresses ready for. You may have been lucky and have the only dress they were working on so they could focus all their attention on it."
Picking up the dress, Rachel looked at Bella and motioned her towards the back of the house. "Come on Bella. We'll go to my room where you'll be safe. In case Jacob comes home early we don't want him to see you in your dress."

TODAY I WOKE UP
(and i knew that i had to let him go)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------IT WAS THE HARDEST THING I'VE EVER DONE(but theres someone else i love) Bella shook her head, hearing Rachel tell her to breath and she did, taking a deep breath in and held it for a second before releasing it, doing this repeatedly until she had somewhat calmed down. Her eyes were still panicked, her hands were still shaking and for a minute, she didnt want to even look at the dress or talk about it or have anyhting to do with it but, this was her wedding. she would have to deal with this sooner or later.
As Rachel offered to open the bag for her, she nodded her head lightly and frowned a bit as the words 'try it on' passed her soon to be sister in law's lips "Try it on? I um...I kinda have to, dont I? I mean, if I dont then it might not fit and then when its time to...get married..." she paused after saying that weird, clearly finding it a bit awkward. She never thought of herself as the 'marrying' type "Okay...sure, i'll try the dress on.."
She saw Rachel pick up the dress and followed Rachel into her room "Thanks Rachel...Alice and Esme were'nt home to help me with the crisis and well...you and Rebecca are my bridesmaids so I figured, who better to go to then my future sister?" she half chuckled and walked into the room, taking a seat on the bed, putting a hand over both her eyes as not to look at the dress when Rachel first opened the bag "Alright...okay, im ready. Open it."

***** Rachel had to laugh as she watched Bella cover her eyes and when Bella said that she was ready, Rachel pulled down on the zipper of the white bag that was currently protecting Bella's wedding gown before letting the bag fall from the dress on to the floor. Smiling as she looked over the dress, Rachel thought it was a lovely gown and knew that her brother would have his breath taken away. As Rachel thought about her brother she couldn't help but feel a bit giddy. She honestly wasn't expecting to marry any time soon but the thought that her brother had found somebody he wanted to share his life with made her extremely happy. Turning her attention back to Bella, Rachel smiled as she said: "Ok Bella you can open your eyes. The dress looks fine to me."
Holding the dress up, Rachel held it away from her body so that Bella could get a good look at the dress before she put it on. Rachel hadn't been there when Bella had picked out the dress so while the dress looked great to her, for all she knew it wasn't the style that Bella had picked or something. Hoping that the dress was everything that her soon to be sister-in-law wanted, Rachel found herself unintentionally holding her breath as Bella began to uncover her eyes.

TODAY I WOKE UP
(and i knew that i had to let him go)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------IT WAS THE HARDEST THING I'VE EVER DONE(but theres someone else i love) Bella couldnt stand waiting like this but she kept her eyes closed, waiting for the okay to open them. She heard the zipper being pulled down and nearly cringed at the sound "Well?" she questionedimpatiently, wanting nothing more than to jump up and down with anticipation but she didnt want to make a fool of herself by jumping and falling so she remained still as stone, until she heard Rachel saying she could look.
Hesitantly and clearly nearvous, she peeked one eye open and then opened the other, slowly. It was almost pain stakingly slow, like the dress would lunge at her at any moment and attack. Of course the second she got a good look at the dress the smallest of smiles tugged at her lips. It was beautiful. Perfect, the gold bow added the slightest bit of color which was what she had wanted, an all white dress wasnt really for her so she opted to add something gold to liven it up.
Despite the smile on her face, her eyes were still the same. Worried, frantic, nervous...She looked on the verge of a panic attack "Okay...I over-reacted. Its perfect..." she muttered, biting the inside of her cheek as she walked closer and traced her finger across the silky fabric of the dress "Thanks for, well...thanks."

***** "No problem." Rachel replied with a smile as she saw how Bella visibly relaxed. Of course the younger girl still had some nervousness in her eyes but Rachel supposed that was to be expected when a person was planning their wedding. Rachel was pretty sure that if she were in Bella's position that she would be going crazy with nerves just like Bella was but at the same time Rachel liked to think that she would be a bit more calm and composed. As Bella stepped closer and looked the dress over, Rachel smiled at the Forks High student and asked: "Would you like to try it on?"
Looking down at the dress, Rachel could already picture Bella in her gown and caused her smile to grow. She could already see how Jacob's face would light up at the sight of her heading down the aisle and that in itself was worth all the hard work they were putting into it. Rachel had always wanted her brother to be happy and sure she had tried to talk her brother out of marrying Bella since they were still in high school but Jacob had been dead set on Bella being the one for him. He had told Rachel he knew he was young but that he was ready and after a while Rachel had to agree with her brother. Especially recently. He had seemed to grow up so much and had a much more mature and adult attitude. Rachel knew that her little brother had grown up and was ready to be a husband.
"If you want I can step out while you put it on or I can stay here and help you get into it. It really is a beautiful dress." Rachel said as she held out the dress a bit towards Bella.

As Rachel asked if she would want to try on the dress, Bella bit her lip and made a face, almost afraid to try on the dress. What if it didnt fit? What if it looked ridiculous on her? What if...what if this was all gonna be one huge disaster? "Um...I dont..." she trailed off slightly, walking closer to the dress and brushed her finger against the fabric for a moment, trying not to smile "Yeah, I wanna try it on." she answered, it was true. She was curious how it would look on her but also a bit worried that it would look stupid.
"Could you help? Knowing me, i'd step on the bottom of it, fall and tear the fabric or something equally clumsy and embarrassing." she said, half laughing as she carefully lifted the dress entirely from the bag, setting it down on the bed before carefully pulling the zipper in the back down.
She would try it on over her clothes for now. Somehow she always felt awkward around people when she didnt have clothes on...it was one of the main reasons she never participated in gym. She dreaded going into the locker rooms to change her clothes...she wasn't much compared to other girls.

***** "Sure I can help you but are you sure that you don't want to take off your clothes. Your dress isn't going to fit right if you keep your clothes on." Rachel said with a smile as she watched her future sister-in-law pulling down on the zipper at the back of her dress. Rachel had to admit that a small part of her was jealous because Bella and Jacob were going to be marrying the person they loved and Rachel's longest relationship had lasted about eight months. Sure she had thought she loved him at first but after awhile when she began to realize she was getting bored with him, Rachel knew she didn't love the guy. Sure some people had off days but Rachel had gotten to the point that she just didn't want to hang out with her boyfriend for days on end so she had ended the relationship.
Moving towards the door, Rachel placed her hand on the door knob and smiled at Bella as she said: "I can let you get dressed by yourself then come back in and help you with your dress after you put it on if you want."
Rachel could tell by the way that Bella was standing that she was feeling a bit uncomfortable and awkward. The only reason Rachel figured that could be was because she felt weird about getting naked in front of Rachel. Of course that thought led to Rachel wondering if Jacob had ever seen Bella naked and if the two had taken their relationship to the physical level which then made her inwardly cringe. She really didn't want to know about her brother's sex life and as she looked at Bella, Rachel smiled at her and waited for Bella to decide whether or not she wanted Rachel to leave the room so she could change.

Bella fought back a smile as she pulled the zipper to her gown all the wzy down, looking over at Rachel for a moment before half chuckling and then bitingher lip "Right, yeah..." she muttered in agreement, carfully setting the dress down on the bed. She was happy to be marrying Jacob though part of her would always belong to Edward. She couldnt deny her feelings for him. Such strong feelings that i hurt to not be next to him and it was impossible to breath when she was with him.
She found herself wondering how two guys, one of them perfect and amazing and devoted only to her and the other was equally amazing and perfect but could not be with her.
But how was it possible someone like her, so flawed with many mistakes and errors, could find the only two men in the world that could see her imperfections as perfections? How was it possible she found two people who accepted and loved her just the way she was? She was not pretty, she was not very smart and she was none of the things she'd read guys liked in a girl but despite all of that, they loved her. Both of them loved her and one way or another she was going to hurt one of them.
"I-its fine... she wouldn't be entirely naked, she'd always worn two shirts, a flannel or plaid overshirt and a tanktop underneath. She was sure the dress would fit over her tank top.
She turned around so her back was facing Rachel, she would need her to zip the dress up so it made sense. After some hesitation -she really didnt want to try on the dress- she toom a small and quiet breath before removing her shirt, the white tank top she wore under her red flannel was wrinkled and there was the smallest of tears in the side of the fabric. She didnt mind, her clothes were comfortable because they were slightly worn and torn.
She grabbed the wedding dress after she'd taken her pants off. The process was slow as she carefully put the gown own, stepping into it and pulling it up.
She felt her breath caught in her throat, her hands quivering "Um...z-zip it up, please?"
