While she couldnt hide the fact that she loved hiking, she also couldnt lie and say it was the best thing in the world. It was exhausting, tiring and sometimes left you feeling worse than when you started. She'd been out here since six in the morning and it was nearing nine.
Three hours of constant hiking. She didnt know why but she just wanted to skip school today, play hookie. That and the fact that she had a math test today...a math test she hadnt studied at all for. So she decided to skip and spend the day outside. It was a beautiful day. Not raining but it wasn't sunny. It was very rare for Forks to have any sun. It was the only town she could think of that got that much rain.
With a small frown, she paused, leaning against a tree and pulled her backpack off her shoulders, taking a bottle of water and took a few sips before putting it back and moved so she was sitting on the floor. She'd worked up an appetite and so, she dug around a bit, pulling out a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. She wasnt a cook, that was for sure but PB & J sandwiches were the ultimate food. You couldnt go wrong with this. It was simple but delicious. Taking a small bite, she smiled to herself, her mind wandering to Embry and the conversation the two shared the other day on the beach.

spin, spin, spin, spin. stop. spin, spin, spin, spin. stop. repeat.
Luna spun the chains of the swing set the let it go so she could spin in circles. After doing this quiet a few times she stood up. Today had been so boring, she had been trying just about anything to amuse herself. This included doing some pretty dangerous things. Spinning the swings was not nearly as bad as what she was doing. Earlier she took a trip to the forest and jumped out of trees at different heights around 200, 300 feet in the air. She even tried jumping from one tree to the other at different speeds. After that she rolled down a hill and straight into the lake. Although not much harm come to a vampire.
Sighing, Luna laid on her back, lifted her knees up, and watched the clouds go by. She was starting to settle herself down now, only, she really didn't want to. She wanted to go do something else. But what? With a small 'ugh' she stood up to sit back on the swings. She swung her legs back and forth until she got as high as the swing would let her then took a deep breath. She went back on last time and on her way back she slid off her swing and straight into the air. Adrenaline ran from her head to her stomach and back to her head and then through her whole body! She landed on her feet and hands in a crouched position.
Chuckling at herself, she took off running to the forest. Her hunger was starting to burn at her throat and she was in the mood for animal. She had run pretty deep into the forest before the scent of human reached her nose. Curious, she .followed it until a girl come into view. "Hello." She said day dreamy like. "You're out here pretty far" Her British accent rolled of her tongue. Her eyes blinked softly wondering why a young human would be out so deep in the forest, it wasn't a common thing to be alone.
