Oh how the little things in life could progress into something much bigger than it should be. Now that was something worth considering when it came to that time in life where you had to make a choice on what needed to be done once allow in the big, wide world. Freya was at this stage of her life when she was about to leave the security of high school and move into a new chapter of her life. The only troubled part of the new chapter before it even began was that she had no idea what she wanted to do. Tapping her fingers against the side of her face, she was the last of her mother’s children to leave high school and choose what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. Freya was the youngest of four; she had two older brothers and an older sister. Adam was twenty nine and was First Lieutenant, Elliot was twenty seven and was in his final year of medical school and then there was Chloe aged twenty four and she just graduated with a history degree and was in the middle of planning her wedding. Now it was her turn, how was she going to live up to the high expectations that had already been set?
At this moment in time she was sat in the coffee shop in Forks town since she had a free period and it was the end of her day so here she was sat and thinking to herself. There was no-one about at the moment so she was sat on her own with just her thoughts. What was she going to do with the rest of her life? It had been so much easier when she was a child to think of what she wanted to do, but of course she could not be a princess like she had wanted to back then. Freya tapped her fingers on the table top before pulling out her note book and doodling on the random page that opened up in front of her. At this point in life she had no other commitments and she was happily single for the time being, and yet she could not think of what she wanted to do after she was thrust out into the cruel world on her own. Wrapping her finger around a single strand of her it was difficult not to slip into deep thought when one was on their own; it was amazing what little things could come to her mind.
Could it be that she was thinking of something else? Alas she was. All her life she had grown up in Forks and it was a pretty boring place to live. Freya saw herself moving away from it all and living in a wider world. It was almost as if the place was suffocating her and making her fade slowly. Once more she ran her hand through her hair and sighed. But could she really leave the place she called home, she didn’t know anything else. Why did these choices have to be some hard? She could not run away from them after all. Freya took a sip of her coffee as she set her pen on the table and looked out of the window watching the cars pass. She felt much older than her eighteen years, maybe it was the fact that she had older siblings and her parents had her quite late in their lives. It was a slight disadvantage, but she did not know any other life. Freya had a normal and happy life what more could she have asked for. Maybe she did want adventure and to see another part of life that many people in this world did not want to see or know about.

JUST A DAY
(just an ordinary day, just trying to get by)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The day had drug on for what felt like forever. Never had she been so happy to be done with school for the day. To her, it was quite possibly the worst day of her high school life, apart form the usual lines of questioning about her recent engagement to Jacob Black, there was now a new line of questions regarding her recent lunch with Edward Cullen. Granted, his brother and her sister had been there as well...though they only seemed focused on her and Edward. Namely Jessica. Her questions had gotten rather annoying and Bella had gotten to a point earlier today where she told her friend to shut up.
She sighed slightly, parking her red truck outside the coffee shop and grabbed her jacket, pulling it on and zipped it almost all the way up before stepping out in o yet another rainy afternoon in Forks. She had almost expected sun. Thankfully though, the news said it would be sunny this weekend, not a single cloud would be in the sky. She planned a swimming trip with Jacob and his friends from the Reservation all weekend long, telling her mother she would spend Friday Saturday and Sunday at Jacob's house but promised she would leave early Monday morning so she wouldn't be late for school. Esme hesitantly agreed, Bella was careful enough. Never did anything she shouldn't do...except go into the forest.
Once inside, the warmth of the shop instantly heated her cold skin and she smiled in relief, waving slightly and awkwardly at the waitress who immediately knew what she wanted, Spring Salad.
It was then that she saw Freya, a girl from school. She knew her name but nothing else. The two hadn't spoke much, if at all. Bella liked to stick to her own group of friends...and sometimes Alice's friends as well. Though currently most of her time had been spent sitting and eating alone, thinking about Edward. "Hi." she muttered in a small, sheepish voice as she approached Freya's table "Um...Freya, right?...um- Can I sit?" she asked, hoping for a simple yes.

Tapping her fingers against the table top once more, she glanced down at the doodles she had drawn aimlessly on the paper before her. It actually amused Freya that she had in fact drawn nothing of importance just like her current state of mind. It was amazing how drawing could reveal what was on her mind when she had nothing in about what she was doodling. Truth be told she didn’t have anything of importance going on in her life anyway, hence why she was sat in the local coffee shop with a cup of coffee in her hand and nothing much else to do. There were a few people about on the streets or driving around the small town in their cars. Out of the corner of her eye, Freya saw someone walk in to grab some coffee. Good old coffee, something she could live without on a morning. Her mother was a nurse and was up at crazy hours of the morning, which was how she developed her love and addiction to the warm substance.
Another sip of coffee and back to the doodling, really she should be studying the material she had taken notes upon today in classes, but to be honest she was not in the mood to do anymore school work today. Freya would have enough of that when she goes home to tackle that mid-term paper due in next week. Yes, she should have started a while ago but finding the motivation to do such a thing was a task itself and she would just have to find it before her father threatened to take her car keys away from her again and drive her to school every morning and pick her up. That was something she did not want to happen, high school was like a jungle and if something like that was to happen, then she would just not graduate it was certainly not worth the bullying.
Freya as usually was over thinking the situation, but she had an over active mind so she often thought about every situation. Her thoughts were interrupted when a voice broke through them and she was forced to look up at the person who had spoken and happened to know her name, even if it was in a question. A slight smile appeared across her face, Freya finally found her voice and spoke. “Yeah, I’m Freya, actually I’m surprised anyone knows my name, I tend to keep myself to myself.” She trailed off for a moment. “Pull up a seat if you like.” She offered to one of the empty surrounding seats. "So what else brings you here minus that fantastic coffee they serve?" She honestly had no idea why Bella Swan would sit here, the fact was Freya was very much a loner and quite frankly she was used to it all. Anyway she only had a few more months of school left and then she would be out of that zoo for good she hoped.
